TCU Loses to 9th Ranked Washington (3/6)

FORT WORTH, Texas - At the annual HEB Tennis Invitational the TCU Horned Frogs ranked 32nd in the nation, fell victim to the Washington Huskies 4-3 on Saturday in Corpus Christi. The Frogs' Esteban Carril rebounded after his loss to Tulane's Robert Samuelson to defeat Washington's Eric Drew 6-3, 7-6. Esteban improves to 17-7 overall and 6-3 this spring season. In addition, Scott Eddins improves his unbeaten streak to double digits. Hr is 10-0 in dual match play this spring. This was the first time these two teams have met. Washington leads the series 1-0. The Frogs drop to 7-3 overall this year.
