Cowgirls Lasso Frogs, 2-1, in Women's Soccer

FORT WORTH, Texas (Oct. 27) -- The Oklahoma State Cowgirls defeated TCU, 2-1, Wednesday, at the TCU Soccer Complex. The Frogs fall to 9-10 on the season with one game remaining. The game ends the Cowgirls' season with a record of 5-14.
All scoring for both teams occurred in the first half. Oklahoma State scored first in just the sixth minute. Kellie White crossed to Julie Harris on the left who then passed to Missy Moss for the goal against TCU sophomore keeper Danielle Reitnouer (Monrovia, Calif./St. Lucy's/Sacramento State). Cowgirl freshman Emily Polan scored again for Oklahoma State in the 38th minute.
TCU responded with 37 seconds left in the first half when sophomore forward Ali Schloegel (Chesterfield, Mo./St. Thomas Aquinas) scored off assists from senior forward Charlia Owens (Richardson, Texas/L.V. Berkner) and freshman Lori Robbins (Arlington, Texas/Sam Houston).
The Horned Frogs close their season this Friday, Oct. 29, when they host Texas at 4 p.m. at the TCU Soccer Complex.
