
Cramer Earns Big 12 Weekly Honor

Cramer drove in a run in all four games
FORT WORTH – TCU baseball's Cole Cramer has been tabbed the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week. The honor is the first for the Horned Frogs and the first for Cramer in his career.
Cramer was one of two Horned Frogs to hit safely in all four games to start the season. He led the Frogs with a .412 (7-for-17) average. Of his seven hits, two went for doubles and two for home runs. He drove in a run in all four games and finished the weekend with six RBIs.
The Arlington, Washington native opened the season with a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the 10th inning of Friday's game to complete TCU's rally from a 4-0 deficit. His best came in the series finale against San Diego as he finished 3-for-5 with two runs scored, one double, two home runs, and three RBI His second home run was the go-ahead and eventual game-winner to lead off the ninth.
TCU, ranked as high as No. 13 in the polls, will head to Arlington, Texas and Globe Life Field to take part in the Amegy College Baseball Showdown featuring Michigan, Arkansas and Kansas State. TCU will take on nationally-ranked Michigan (4-0) in the opening game of the Showdown Friday at 3 p.m. The entire weekend will be streamed on FloCollege.com.
