Veteran duo will be anchors of TCU's defense this fall
FORT WORTH -- TCU linebacker Namdi Obiazor and cornerback Avery Helm met with media on Tuesday.
Obiazor has started all 25 games the last two seasons. Since arriving on campus in 2022, his 214 tackles top all Horned Frogs. In 2025, he is taking advantage of an extra year due to the NCAA's waiving of junior college playing seasons counting against eligibility at four-year institutions.
Helm started all 11 games he played in 2023, before being sidelined this past season due to injury. He will return this fall.
