
Matiscik Receives NFF Scholar-Athlete Award

TCU snapper is a three-time Academic All-Big 12 recipient
DALLAS -- The National Football Foundation's Gridiron Club of Dallas has selected snapper Brent Matiscik as TCU's 2024 Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Matiscik will be recognized at Sunday night's banquet at the Dallas/Addison Marriott Quorum by the Galleria.
A three-time Academic All-Big 12 recipient, Matiscik has been TCU's short and long snapper in all 27 games the last two seasons. The McKinney, Texas, native earned his business finance degree in May 2023 and is currently pursuing a master of science in supply chain management.
Matiscik will enter his final season this fall having played in 42 games over his TCU career.
