Frimodt leads Frogs after opening round
LAS VEGAS – Senior Gustav Frimodt carded an opening round score of 3-under 69 Sunday as TCU began play in the Southern Highlands Collegiate.
Frimodt had three birdies for his 11th round under par and seventh under 70 this season. He is tied for seventh place.
Toby Wilt made two birdies and finished the round 1-over 73. He is tied for 49th place.
Ethan Dial finished at 2-over 74 and is tied for 57th place and Ethan Dial is one shot back and tied for 57th place.
In a 15-team field with eight teams ranked in the top 25, TCU is in 14th place after posting an opening score of 292.
The Horned Frogs begin the second round at 12:20 p.m. CT on Monday.
