
Horned Frogs Earn Lage Academic Achievement Award

FORT WORTH – A total of 13 student athletes were honored with the 2024 Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award by the Big 12 Conference.
This award represents the highest academic distinction given by the Big 12 Conference.
To be considered for the recognition, student athletes must have lettered at least once in their career while maintaining residence at their institution for at least one academic year.
The honoree, which can only be recognized once, must have 100 hours of earned credit and maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.80 at the time of the nomination.
Among the TCU sports teams, track and field topped the list with four honorees. Swimming and diving, equestrian, and rifle garnered two awards while women's basketball, soccer, and beach volleyball had one recipient each.
