Alvarez and Moreno named CCSA Pair of the Week

This marks the fourth time in their careers that they have been honored
Fort Worth – TCU beach volleyball's senior Daniela Alvarez and junior Tania Moreno were named the CCSA Pair of the Week on March 8. This marks the fourth time the pairing has been honored by the CCSA.
At the Tampa Tournament last weekend, the pairing had an impressive showing. Playing all matches from the No. 1 position, the duo dominated the best pairings from No. 10 Georgia State, Florida Gulf Coast, No. 2 Florida State and Tampa. They were victorious in all eight sets played last weekend. The duo was responsible for securing the TCU victory over the No. 2-ranked Seminoles with their straight-set victory (21-15, 21-15). Alvarez and Moreno improved their season record to 7-0.

The Horned Frogs return to Fort Worth for the Horned Frog Challenge starting Friday, March 10. They will host three teams - Texas A&M-Kingsville, No. 4 LSU and Southern Miss. TCU's first match is set for 11 a.m. against Texas A&M-Kingsville.
