FORT WORTH -- The TCU women's golf team begins NCAA Championship play Friday when it tees off at 9:25 a.m. CDT in Scottsdale, Ariz.
THE EVENT

GOLF Channel will provide live coverage for the final three days of the championships.
THE FIELD
TCU is seeded 21st at the NCAA Championship. The other competing teams, in order of seeding, are Stanford, Oregon, South Carolina, Wake Forest, San Jose State, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, Virginia, Alabama, Florida State, USC, Texas, LSU, UCLA, Baylor, Auburn, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Michigan, Georgia, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and Purdue.
TCU IN THE NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP
TCU is making its 13th appearance at the NCAA Championship and eighth under Head Coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin. It's the Horned Frogs' first trip since 2010. TCU won the 1983 NCAA Championship, the first team national championship for a women's sport at the school, and was runner-up in 1982.
SHATTERING THE RECORD BOOK
Twenty-six team and individual records have been set this season. Included in that total is TCU's 289.1 team stroke average.
THE LINEUP
TCU's lineup will feature Sabrina Iqbal, Caitlyn Macnab, Lois Lau, Trinity King and Valeria Pacheco.
Macnab (71.2) and Iqbal (71.5) are both on pace to set TCU records for season stroke average. The current mark is 72.0 by Iqbal in 2019-20.
Iqbal, who earned her TCU degree in entrepreneurship and innovation earlier this month, carded a TCU record 9-under 63 in final round play to take medalist honors at The Bruzzy in April. The San Jose, Calif., native ranks No. 1 in program history with a 72.8 career stroke average, 349 birdies and 58 par or better rounds. She is tied for the top spot at TCU in eagles for a season (six) and career (10). Her 20 rounds of par or better and 106 birdies trail only Macnab for a season in TCU history. Iqbal recorded par on the final hole at the NCAA Regional to send TCU to the NCAA Championship. She tied for fourth at the regional, one of six top-10 finishes including five in the top five this season.
Macnab has set TCU season records with 22 rounds of par or better, 126 birdies, six eagles and 54-hole score with a 13-under 203 to finish as the runner-up at the Jim West Challenge in just her third collegiate tournament. It was one of three second-place results included in five top-three finishes in her last nine tournaments. The Johannesburg, South Africa, native has recorded nine sub-70 scores this season. She finished 11th at the 2022 Augusta National Women's Amateur.
Lau has played in 10 of 11 tournaments and is third on the team with a 74.0 stroke average. She has a pair of top-10 finishes and carded a career low 6-under 66 in final-round play for a career best 8-under 208 at the Jim West Challenge.
King has played in six tournaments this season, including the last four. She had a season-best tie for 11th at the Big 12 Championship.
Pacheco joins Iqbal and Macnab as the lone Horned Frogs to play in all 11 tournaments this season. Pacheco has tied a TCU season record with six eagles. Her eight career eagles are third on TCU's all-time list, while a 74.7 stroke average marks a third consecutive season with a career low mark. She had a season-best score and finish with a 6-under 210 and a tie for 15th at the Sam Golden Invitational.
