TCU Sets The Pace in Academic All-Big 12 Recognition

Horned Frogs top the conference with six first-team selections
IRVING, Texas -- The TCU women's golf team ranked first in the conference with six First-Team Academic All-Big 12 recipients.
Sabrina Iqbal (entrepreneurship), Caroline Jordaan (business), Trinity King (psychology; minor: communications), Lois Lau (communications; minor: fitness), Caitlyn Macnab (health and fitness) and Valeria Pacheco (mechanical engineering) were recognized.
Iqbal, who took medalist honors at this week's The Bruzzy after carding a final round school record 9-under-par 63, is First-Team Academic All-Big 12 for the third consecutive year. Fellow senior Pacheco is also Academic All-Big 12 for the third time.
Jordaan, in her first year at TCU, is one of just two Big 12 women's golfers with a 4.0 grade-point average.
King is First-Team Academic All-Big 12 for the second year in a row, while Lau received the honor for the first time after being on the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team last season.
TCU, ranked 29th nationally, was runner-up at The Bruzzy and will return to action April 22 at the Big 12 Championship in Hockley, Texas.
