Eight Named Academic All-Big 12

Allkins and Gums recognized for third-straight season
FORT WORTH – A program-record eight members of the TCU men's golf team were named Academic All-Big 12 on Wednesday.
Thomas Allkins, Caden Christopherson, Justin Gums, Brent Hamm and Jan Schneider were all named to the first team with a GPA of 3.2 or better. Chris Berzina, Gustav Frimodt and Jacob Skov Olesen were named to the second team.
It was the third-career award for seniors Allkins and Gums. Frimodt and Olesen were also on last season's team, which had the previous program record with six honorees.
TCU is back in action at the Big 12 Championship, April 25-27, at Whispering Pines Golf Club in Trinity, Texas.
