Macnab leads the Horned Frogs
HUMBLE, Texas -- The No. 20 TCU women's golf team is in 12th place after Monday's opening two rounds of the ICON Invitational in Humble, Texas.
Caitlyn Macnab, tied for 28th, is the top Horned Frog. Her opening round 2-under 70 featured all five of her birdies in an 11-hole stretch. The 70 was the sixth better-than-par score in 14 rounds this season for the freshman from Johannesburg, South Africa.
Caroline Jordaan's 1-over 73 in the opening round featured par on 15 holes and a birdie. She had two birdies en route to a second-round 74.
Lois Lau totaled three birdies in a seven-hole stretch in a first-round 76. She then had three birdies in carding an even-par 72.
Sabrina Iqbal recorded consecutive birdies on holes 12 and 13, as part of three in her opening-round 75. She began and closed the second round with birdies in posting a 74.
Valeria Pacheco had three birdies on the day.
