TCU Adds Graduate Transfer Vaulter

FORT WORTH — Kasey Staley has signed with TCU and will be eligible for the 2021-22 season. She is currently listed as a senior for indoor and a redshirt junior for outdoor.
The Farwell, Mich., native spent the past four years at Central Michigan. She recently garnered a silver medal at the 2021 MAC Outdoor Championships, vaulting a career-best 4.01m (13' 1.75").
At the 2020 indoor conference championship she placed third, setting an indoor personal record (3.97 meters).
Staley is a standout in the classroom as well, posting her third consecutive year as Academic All-MAC.
Prior to college, she was the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 3 state pole vault champion in 2016 and 2017 and the state runner-up in 2014 and 2015. During that time, she set the MHSAA Division 3 state pole vault record with a vault of 12' 4" in 2016.
