
Four Frogs Garner Conference Weekly Awards

Sadlowski and Moore Earn First Conference Honors
IRVING, Texas – The TCU swimming & diving teams earned four Big 12 honors for the week of Nov. 3 for the Frogs' performance against SMU.
With his first Big 12 honor, Piotr Sadlowski garnered Swimmer of the Week honors for his performance against SMU. Sadlowski won the 100 and 200 butterfly with times of 47.64 and 1:47.64, respectively. He also was part of the winning 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay teams.
David Ekdahl earns his second Diver of the Week honor after winning both boards against the Mustangs. He took first on 1-meter with a score of 347.55 and notched a first-place finish on 3-meter with a score of 337.72. Both scores were NCAA Zone cuts.
Geremia Freri picked up his second Newcomer of the Week honor and his fifth Big 12 award of the season. Against SMU, Freri won the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:28.25. He also notched a win in the 1000 freestyle with a time of 9:07.96, breaking his own school record of 9:08.94 that he set at the USC Invitational on Oct. 16.
On the women's side, Rylee Moore garnered Newcomer of the Week honors after winning two events against the Mustangs. She swam a winning time of 56.20 in the 100 backstroke. She was also on the first-place 200 medley relay team that clocked a time of 1:43.90. She also placed second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:02.46.
