Horned Frogs Hold Strong at The Ally

Lau cards a second round 2-under 70
WEST POINT, Miss -- TCU sophomore Lois Lau carded a 2-under-par 70 to lead the No. 12 TCU women's golf team in second-round action Tuesday at The Ally in West Point, Miss.
The Horned Frogs are in fifth place in the 12-team event that features nine ranked programs. TCU is the lone non-SEC member in the field.
With four birdies, Lau was 4 under the final 10 holes. The Noisy-sur-Ecole, France, native is at 1-over 145 through 36 holes and tied for 21st.
Sabrina Iqbal is tied for 19th at even-par 144. She had two birdies en route to a second round 75.
Caitlyn Macnab's 73, two strokes below her opening round score, included four birdies.
Caroline Jordaan closed play with three consecutive birdies, part of a team-best five on the day, for a 75.
