FORT WORTH - Alastair Gray of men's tennis, Aahliyah Jackson of women's basketball, and Elizabeth Marsh of rifle were named TCU Student-Athletes of the Week presented by Bob's Steak and Chop House.
Gray led the men's tennis team to a 4-1 win over Tulsa. Gray was paired with Luc Fomba in their doubles match, winning comfortably by the score of 6-1. Gray also went on to win his ranked singles matchup in straight sets (6-4, 6-4).
The No. 6 TCU men's tennis team returns to the court this Saturday against Denver.
Jackson led the Frogs to a 81-78 overtime win against Kansas this past Sunday. Jackson put up a solid stat line recording 13 points, four assists and four rebounds. She also led the Frogs with four made 3-pointers in the game.
The women's basketball team returns to the hardwood tonight against Texas.
Marsh led rifle to a big win, 4,722-4,703, over No. 5 Alaska Fairbanks this past Friday. Marsh had a career day as she fired season-highs in both smallbore (587) and air rifle (597) and also tying a career high in aggregate score (1184).
The No. 4 TCU rifle team returns to action this Saturday at The Citadel.
