Horned Frogs begin play Tuesday in Hawaii
FORT WORTH -- The TCU women's golf team returns to action Tuesday when it begins play at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational in Kane'ohe, O'ahu, Hawaii.
The Horned Frogs will look to continue the momentum from last week's tie for second place at the Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, Fla.
The Event
The Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational is in its 35th year. It is held on the par 72, 6,099-yard Kane'ohe Klipper Golf Course.
The tournament format is 36 holes Tuesday with the final round Wednesday. Both days will have a 1:05 p.m. CDT shotgun start.
The Field
Joining TCU and host Hawaii in the 16-team field are Arizona State, James Madison, Kennesaw State, Montana State, Nevada, Ohio State, Osaka Gakuin, San Diego State, Seattle, Stetson, UNC Asheville, UTEP, Xavier and Yale.

The Lineup
TCU's lineup will be Sabrina Iqbal, Trinity King, Greta Bruner, Jennie Park and Valeria Pacheco.
Iqbal, ranked 86th nationally, has been TCU's top finisher in each of the last two tournaments and four overall this season. Most recently, she tied for third at the Hurricane Invitational. It was the ninth top-10 finish in 19 career tournaments for the sophomore from San Jose, Calif. Her 72.3 stroke average is on pace to break the TCU season record of 72.9 by Emmy Martin in 2016-17.
King had a career-best finish of a tie for seventh at the Hurricane Invitational. The freshman from Arlington, Texas, is third on TCU with a 73.3 stroke average and three top-20 finishes in eight tournaments.
Bruner tied for 14th at the Hurricane Invitational, giving her 12 top-20 results in 23 tournaments as a Horned Frog. The lone senior in the lineup, Bruner had two eagles at the Hurricane Invitational to become TCU's career leader with 10.
Park, a freshman from Carrollton, Texas, is second on the Horned Frogs with a 73.0 stroke average. She was the November Big 12 Women's Golfer of the Month and has three top-20 finishes in eight events.
Pacheco will be in her eighth tournament. She set a TCU single-round record with a 64 at the Jim West Challenge in October.
