TCU Begins Play in Puerto Rico

Do and King lead the Horned Frogs in opening-round action
RIO GRANDE, P.R. -- The TCU women's golf team opened its spring season Sunday at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, P.R.
The Horned Frogs, one of eight top-50 programs in the 15-team field, shot a 309 and are tied for 13th.
Grace Do and Trinity King led TCU with 75s. Both had three birdies on the day.
Valeria Pacheco and Sabrina Iqbal also recorded three birdies apiece, while Jennie Park had two. Pacheco posted consecutive birdies on holes 13 and 14. Iqbal birdied two of her final four holes.
Monday's second round will begin with a 6 a.m. CST start. Live scoring is available at Golfstat.com.
