
TCU Signs Seven to Class of 2025

Frogs claim four Jumping Seat and three Western riders
FORT WORTH – The Horned Frogs claimed seven talented newcomers to join the equestrian program next year after signing National Letters of Intent in the early signing period, TCU Director of Equestrian Haley Schoolfield announced.
"This is a strong and well-balanced class of horseman, showman, and students put together by Coach Fiorentino and Coach Dukes," Schoolfield said. "These ladies will complement our current athletes with their skill level and I'm certain will they make an immediate impact."
The signing class includes four riders on the Jumping Seat side with three set to compete for the Western team. These future Frogs hail from seven different states from across the country.

Dunham comes to Fort Worth by way of Jonesboro, Arkansas. She has grown up competing in western all-around events and has placed in the top 10 in multiple events at the All American Quarter Horse Congress. Most recently, she earned Reserve World Champion in the L3 14-18 Trail at the Youth World honors. Dunham could not be more excited to begin her career at TCU.

ANNAKATE LONG – JUMPING SEAT – MAGNOLIA, TEXAS
Texas native AnnaKate Long will be competing on the Jumping Seat side for the Horned Frogs upon her arrival on campus. In 2019, she had top placings in the junior hunters and equitation arena at Country Heir, Texas Hunter Jumper Association. This year, her success has multiplied, with top placings in the junior hunters and equitation ring at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center Winter Series, Blue Ribbon Summer Festival, Atlanta Classic, Southwest Showdown and Great Southwest Fall Classic. She currently leads the Texas Hunter Jumper Association in the Medal, Maclay and Junior Equitation.

EMY LUCIBELLO – JUMPING SEAT – NAPERVILLE, ILL.
Lucibello comes to TCU from Naperville, Illinois and Naperville Central High School. She is set to join Long on the Jumping Seat side and has amassed a strong resumé through high school. She qualified and competed at the Maclay Finals and USEF Medal Finals in 2018, 2019, 2020. She also competed at the USEF Medal Finals in 2017. She competed at the USET Finals and had a top 12 finish at the Gladstone Equitation Cup East this season. Both this year and last she earned top placings in the equitation at the Winter Equestrian Festival, Kentucky, Great Lakes Equestrian Festival and Lamplight Shows.

CHLOE PEEBLES – JUMPING SEAT – CORAL GABLES, FLA.
Peebles finds her way to TCU from Laurel Springs School and South Florida. This year, she has top finishes in the junior hunter division at the Winter Equestrian Festival and a 6th place finish at the Marshal & Sterling 3'6" Equitation Finals. Last year she was the Marshal & Sterling Overall Grand Hunter Champion as well as Reserve Circuit Champion at the Winter Equestrian Festival. She qualified for both the HITS $100,000 Hunter Prix Finals and Marshal & Sterling Medal Finals.

LAUREL SMITH – JUMPING SEAT – HALIFAX, MASS.
Smith joins TCU from Silver Lake Regional High School outside of Boston. This year, she has qualified for the Maclay Finals and the New England Equitation Championships. She was the Reserve Circuit Champion in the Jr. Hunters at HITS Ocala. Last year she earned eighth overall at the East Coast Jr. Hunter Finals. She also qualified for the Devon Horse Show, Penn National Horse Show, The National Horse Show and the Capital Challenge in the junior Hunters. She finished tenth in the Children's Jumper Classic at the Capital Challenge.

She has spent the past several seasons catch riding in addition to competing on her own horses and we are excited for her to bring her skill set to TCU."
JENNA WELKER – WESTERN – RENO, NEV.
Welker hails from Reno, Nev. and will be riding in the Western ranks for the Horned Frogs. In her youth career, she has amassed an AQHYA Worlds level 2 reserve championship and a level 3 top 10. She is the WCRHA youth champion by way of a rookie level 2 reserve championship and a rookie level 1 championship. She also was named the Gold 'n' Grand youth champion.

"Jenna is very driven and has had a very successful career with several World & Reserve World Championships along with many other top titles. She will be a great addition to the team and we look forward to her arrival here in Fort Worth."
ELIZABETH WEST – WESTERN – WILLIAMSTON, MICH.
Elizabeth West will be coming to TCU from Williamston, Michigan. West has won two AQHYA World Championships and a Bronze Championship. In addition, she is a 3-time QH Congress Champion in Hunter Under Saddle and Halter as well as received numerous top placings in the Horsemanship, Showmanship, Trail, and Equitation at the Congress. Elizabeth has earned top ten AQHA All-Around honors and has won several Michigan Quarter Horse All-Around Champions or Reserve Champions. She has held numerous leadership positions, including President, in the Michigan Quarter Horse Youth Association. At Williamston High School, Elizabeth plays varsity basketball and is active in student government.
