Horned Frogs Open Play at Schooner Fall Classic

King tops TCU individually with a 73
NORMAN, Okla. -- The TCU women's golf team began play Friday at the Schooner Fall Classic in Norman, Okla.
TCU is in a tie for 12th place after an opening round 16-over-par 296. Just 19 strokes separate the 15 teams in the field.
Freshman Trinity King led the Horned Frogs with a 3-over 73. She was even-par on the back nine while posting all three of her birdies on the day.
Sabrina Iqbal and Valeria Pacheco contributed 74s for the Horned Frogs. Iqbal recorded par on 14 holes, while Pacheco had three birdies.
Jennie Park added a 75 for TCU. The freshman from Carrollton, Texas, had one birdie.
