Horned Frogs look to build upon a strong finish in Vail
FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU women's golf team will look to continue the momentum from its strong close to the Golfweek Conference Challenge when it begins play Friday at the Schooner Fall Classic in Norman, Okla.
When Last in Action
The Horned Frogs concluded play Wednesday with a tie for fifth place at the Golfweek Conference Challenge in Vail, Colo. TCU's final round 6-under-par 282 was the third-lowest score among the 18 teams in the field and tied for the fifth-best round in program history.
Three Horned Frogs, sophomore Sabrina Iqbal (69) and freshmen Trinity King (70) and Jennie Park (68), carded below-par final rounds. Iqbal set a TCU 54-hole record with her 7-under 209.
The Event
TCU is playing in the Schooner Fall Classic for the first time since 2014. This year's event is being held at the par 70, 6,048-yard Belmar Golf Club in Norman. The three-day tournament will feature 18 holes each day. TCU's Friday tee times begin at 9:30 a.m. on hole No. 10.
The Field
Joining TCU and host Oklahoma in the 15-team field are Alabama, Baylor, Clemson, Florida State, Houston, Illinois, Louisville, Miami (Fla.), Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Texas, Texas A&M and Texas State.
How to Follow
FOX Sports Southwest and FOX College Sports Central will televise Friday's action from noon to 3 p.m.

The Lineup
TCU will be represented at the Schooner Fall Classic by Sabrina Iqbal, Trinity King, Jennie Park, Valeria Pacheco and Grace Do.
Iqbal had three consecutive below-par rounds, capped by a final-round 69, in setting a TCU record for 54-hole score with a 7-under 209 to tie for fourth individually at the Golfweek Conference Challenge. Dating back to last season, the San Jose, Calif., native has 11 consecutive top-20 finishes, including six in the top 10. She has six sub-70 rounds at TCU.
King and Park tied for 12th and 16th, respectively, in their first collegiate tournaments. King finished at 1-under 215 with Park at even-par 216.
Pacheco, a sophomore from Hallandale Beach, Fla., has played in 10 of 12 tournaments the last two seasons with two top-20 finishes. She had a pair of 75s at the Golfweek Conference Challenge.
Do has played in all 22 tournaments in her TCU career. She has five career top-20 finishes, including two in the top 10.
