
Bruner Keys TCU's Opening Round at NCAA Regional

Horned Frogs' junior cards a 2-under-par 70
NORMAN, Okla. -- Led by a 2-under-par 70 by Greta Bruner, the No. 22 TCU women's golf team opened NCAA Regional play Monday in Norman, Okla.
The Horned Frogs are in 13th place after a 6-over 294, but just seven strokes out of a coveted top-six finish to advance to its fifth NCAA National Championship in the last 13 years.
TCU is making its 22nd postseason appearance in the last 24 campaigns.

"We stayed patient today," TCU Head Women's Golf Coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin said. "We kept it simple and prevailed on the back nine. There is a lot of golf left, and we will continue to play with discipline and a strong confident mindset! These ladies are tough, and I have faith in everything we do!"
The Horned Frogs
Greta Bruner is tied for sixth individually after a 2-under 70. She had three consecutive birdies on the back nine and a team-best four on the day. She was 3-under over her final 12 holes.
Bruner is just two strokes off the lead, held by Michaela Fletcher of Memphis who carded a 68.
Sabrina Iqbal totaled three birdies, including back-to-back holes on the back nine, en route to an even-par 72. She is tied for 24th individually.
Annika Clark, the lone senior in the TCU lineup and playing in her third NCAA Regional, contributed a 75. She had two birdies.
Grace Do had a birdie in posting a 77, while Valeria Pacheco added three birdies.
