Four Players Earn Academic All-Big 12 Honors

Doyle, Greene, and Westendorff earn First-Team honors; Rogers Second-Team honors.
FORT WORTH, Texas – Four members of the TCU beach volleyball team were named to the 2019 Academic All-Big 12 At-Large Team as announced by the conference office on Tuesday afternoon.
This team recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at conference institutions that participate in sports outside of Big 12 competition. TCU beach volleyball participates in the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association. The Horned Frogs had three players earn First-Team honors: Claire Doyle, Jaelyn Greene, and Jordan Westendorff. Hannah Rogers earned Second-Team honors.
First team members consist of those who have maintained a 3.20 or better GPA while the second team selections hold a 3.00 to 3.19 GPA. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 20 percent of their team's scheduled contests.
TCU will spend its last weekend of the regular season at home as the Frogs host the TCU Invitational from April 12-13. The team will face Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, UAB and No. 3 Florida State.
