Horned Frogs begin play May 6 in Norman
The Horned Frogs begin play May 6 in the Norman, Okla., Regional. TCU last played in Norman at the 2014 Schooner Fall Classic.
The top six teams and three individuals at each of the four regional sites advance to the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship May 17-22 in Fayetteville, Ark. TCU has reached the NCAA Championship in four of the last 12 seasons.
TCU is seeded sixth in the Norman Regional. Joining the Horned Frogs in the 18-team regional, by order of seeding, are Texas, Wake Forest, Florida, Arizona State, Oklahoma, Pepperdine, Purdue, Ole Miss, Texas Tech, Mississippi State, Virginia Tech, NC State, Texas A&M, UTSA, UNC Wilmington, Sam Houston State and Fairleigh Dickinson.
"The depth and strength in women's collegiate golf is incredible," TCU Head Women's Golf Coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin said. "I am proud to coach such a highly competitive team that displays great leadership and discipline. They are humble and hungry and have definitely earned this!"
The Horned Frogs have won two tournaments this season, the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational and the Jim West Challenge, while posting a top-four finish in six of their 10 events.
