TCU Student-Athletes of the Week

FORT WORTH – RJ Nembhard of men's basketball and Jayde Woods of women's basketball have been named TCU's Student-Athletes of the Week presented by Cram Crew.
Nembhard, a sophomore from Keller, Texas, averaged 14 points, 6.4 rebounds and 6.0 assists in a 2-0 week for the Frogs. He scored 15 points against Winthrop on Wednesday before dropping 13 points, seven rebounds and a career-high nine assists against Lamar on Saturday.
Nembhard and the men's basketball team will host Xavier at 4 p.m. Sunday on ESPN2.
Woods, a senior from Yorba Linda, Calif., led the Frogs with 18 points in a come-from-behind win over Ohio Sunday. Of the 18 points, 10 came in the fourth quarter when TCU was down nine points at the start of the quarter. Woods got it done at the free throw line, hitting 10-of-12 attempts. She averaged 12.0 points and shot 50 percent from the field over the week, which included a loss at No. 11 Texas A&M.
Woods and the women's basketball team will host Texas State on Sunday at noon on HFTV.
