FORT WORTH — Four Horned Frogs have been named TCU Student-Athletes of the Week presented by Cram Crew.
Elan McCall from volleyball set a program record for most kills in a Big 12 conference match, with 27. It was the third most kills she's posted in a single match in her career. She also delivered 14 digs, her seventh 10+ dig match this season.
The Horned Frogs close out their regular season home schedule on Wednesday evening, Nov. 27. TCU will play Oklahoma at 7:00 p.m. inside The Rickel.
Two freshman TCU swimmers were honored for their standout performances.
Janis Silins' 100 Breast (54.08) and 200 Breast (1:57.24) times granted him NCAA B cuts. He is the first Horned Frog swimmer to obtain an NCAA cut this season.
Piotr Sadlowski broke a long course record during Sunday's time trials at SMU. The freshman clocked a 53.95 in the 100 Fly.
TCU's swimming and diving team is back on deck on Dec. 7 at North Texas.
Football's Ar'Darius Washington had a career-best 14 tackles against No. 9 Oklahoma. He more than doubled his previous career high (6). TCU's defense held the Sooners to just seven points over the final 42:56 of the game.
TCU's football team is back in action on Friday at home against West Virginia for Senior Day.
