Moore, Noi Earn Weekly Honors
FORT WORTH, Texas – Jordan Moore from women's basketball and Kouat Noi from men's basketball and have been named TCU's Student-Athletes of the Week presented by Bob's Steak and Chop House.
Moore, a senior from Round Rock, Texas, also helped lead TCU to a perfect 2-0 record last week. She recorded 25 points and 14 boards in last Tuesday's win against Oklahoma and recorded 22 points and 10 rebounds in Sunday's win over Kansas. She logged her fourth and fifth double-doubles of the season, giving her 14 in her career. She recorded back-to-back double-doubles for the second time in her career. She also added six blocks in Sunday's win, a season high and marking the 11th time in her last 12 games she has recorded multiple blocks.
Up next, the Horned Frogs will travel to Manhattan, Kan. to take on Kansas State on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The game with be televised on FCS-Central.
Noi, a sophomore from Newcastle, Australia., was named Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Player of the Week after averaging 18.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week for the Frogs. He recorded 15 points and 11 rebounds for his first-career double-double in TCU's 65-61 win over Texas on Wednesday. Noi then scored 22 points and made three 3-pointers to lead TCU to a 55-50 win over Florida on Saturday.
Up next, TCU will travel south to Waco for a Saturday night matchup with Baylor at 7 p.m. on ESPNU.
