
TCU Set to Host Texas Tech in 2018-19 Season Opener

FORT WORTH, Texas – Coming off a semifinal appearance at the National Collegiate Equestrian Association Championship a year ago, the TCU equestrian program will open the 2018-19 season Friday afternoon against Texas Tech at Turning Point Ranch in Springtown, Texas. Competition is slated to begin at approximately 12:30 p.m. CT.

The All-Time Series
The Horned Frogs will battle the Red Raiders for the fourth time in program history. TCU is 3-0 against Texas Tech, all of which have been exhibitions.
TCU In Season-Openers
The Horned Frogs bring an impressive resume in season-openers into Friday's competition as they have won six of their last seven season-opening meets, including five consecutive victories.
An All-American Lineup Returns
The Frogs will welcome back several 2018 NCEA All-America honorees, including first-team recipient Laska Anderson. Sophomore Adrianna Adams also returns after picking up second team All-America status, as well as junior Jamie Cook who earned Honorable Mention a year ago.
What's Back
After finishing fifth in the polls in the 2017-18 campaign, TCU steps into the show ring Friday, with the No. 5 ranking again this season. The Horned Frogs return a total of 27 riders from last year's team.
