Both of TCU's relays enter the meet seeded in the top eight. The men's 4x400 relay ran 3:03.74 at the National Relay Championships which ranks sixth in the west. TCU swept the Big 12 in the 4x400 this year, winning both the indoor and outdoor titles. TCU's 4x100 is seeded eighth with a mark of 39.44, which earned the team third place at the Big 12 Championships.
Ryan Camp ranks eighth in the west in the discus. At the Sun Angel Classic, Camp threw 58.55m (192' 1") and finished second.
In the hammer throw, Fellan McGuigan brings a throw of 64.46m (211' 6") and is seeded No. 13. Justin Sanchez saved his best throw of the season until the end, throwing a personal-best 60.26m (197'8") at the Big 12 Championship and finishing fifth.
In addition to Sanchez, multiple Horned Frogs had their best showings of the season at the conference meet which led to berths to the regional meet.
