FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The TCU track and field team wrapped up competition at the National Relay Championships on Saturday. Multi-time All-American Scotty Newton added another accomplishment to his storied TCU career, setting the school outdoor triple jump record.
On his fifth attempt, Newton jumped 16.57m (54'4.5") breaking the previous school record of 16.55m (54'3.5") set by Jonathan Jackson in 2008.
