SPRINGTOWN, Texas -- TCU equestrian has a big weekend ahead of it as the Frogs host the Big 12 Equestrian Championship at Turning Point Ranch on Friday and Saturday. Admission and parking are free all weekend. No. 5 TCU (7-7) welcomes No. 3 Oklahoma State (8-3) and No. 7 Baylor (5-6) for the round-robin meet.The Frogs and Cowgirls will face off in the meet's first match at 10 a.m. on Friday. TCU and Baylor will then complete the Flat and Horsemanship portion of their meet at approximately 3 p.m. on Friday. The Frogs and Bears will complete their competition at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Oklahoma State and Baylor will face each other at approximately 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The team with the best record in the meet will be crowned the 2018 Big 12 Champions. The award ceremony is scheduled for approximately 5 p.m. on Saturday. At that point the 2017-18 All-Big 12 awards will be announced.

The Horned Frogs
TCU most recently took out SMU, 14-4, at home on Senior Day on March 9. The Frogs went 5-2 in the spring, including a 4-1 mark at home with the lone loss coming to Oklahoma State.
Laska Anderson has led the Frogs with 11 wins this season in Horsemanship. She has won four straight matches and is unbeaten in her last nine, winning four MOPs in that stretch.
Jayme Omand leads the Frogs with 10 wins in Equitation on the Flat and eight wins in Equitation over Fences. She is 5-1-1 this spring on the Flat, and over Fences she is 3-1 in Big 12 matches this season.
Jamie Cook leads TCU with eight wins in Horsemanship, including four straight entering this weekend's Big 12 Championship.
The Competition
Oklahoma State enters the weekend having won five straight matches, including a 14-6 decision at Baylor on March 17. Baylor has lost three of its last four matches entering the weekend.

The Frogs will return to practice after the conclusion of the Big 12 Championship to prepare for the NCEA Championship starting on Wednesday, April 18, and concluding on Saturday, April 21.
