
Rifle Earns 13 All-American Honors

March 20, 2018 FORT WORTH - Five members of the TCU women's rifle team combined to earn 13 All-American honors from the NRA and the CRCA. Mindy Miles capped her collegiate career with a trio of honors giving her eight for her career. Ariana Grabowski closed out her career as a three-time smallbore All-American.
TCU boasted two smallbore first team All-American honors in Rachel Garner and Mindy Miles. The duo ranked sixth and seventh nationally, respectively with their season smallbore averages. Garner posted an average of 584.3, while Miles averaged a 583.7.
The trio of Ariana Grabowski, Casey Lutz and Elizabeth Marsh earned smallbore second-team accolades.
In air rifle, Garner, Lutz and Miles all earned first team honors from the NRA. Miles was second nationally with her season average of 597.4. Lutz (595.3) ranked sixth, while Garner ranked 10th with an average of 592.9. Marsh's 592.6 average earned her a spot on the second team.
The CRCA handed out All-American honors based on season aggregate average. For the second straight season, Miles earned first-team accolades after ranking fourth nationally with an aggregate average of 1,181. Garner earned second team honors, while Marsh and Lutz were named to the third team.
