Beach: TCU Hits Road for 4 Matches

Last week, the Horned Frogs (3-8) competed against the top four teams in the nation, and this week they will battle No. 16 Loyola Marymount (1 p.m. CT) and No. 8 Long Beach (2:45 p.m. CT) on Thursday and No. 6 Cal Poly (11 a.m. CT) and No. 10 Arizona (1 p.m. CT) on Saturday.
LAST TIME OUT
The Horned Frogs dropped matches to No. 1 Pepperdine (5-0), No. 2 USC (5-0), No. 3 Hawaii (5-0) and No. 4 UCLA (4-1) at the East Meets West Challenge at Manhattan Beach Pier.
Claire Doyle and Hannah Rogers defeated UCLA's Elise Zappia/Mac May in three 21-19, 17-21, 15-13 for the Frogs' lone win over the weekend.
SCOUTING THE COMPETITION
No. 16 Loyola Marymount (4-4): The Lions have lost three straight matches to No. 11 Grand Canyon (4-1), No. 2 Hawaii (3-2) and No. 4 UCLA (5-0) … The Frogs lead the all-time series 1-0 with ULM with the only meeting coming March 1, 2017, in Phoenix, (TCU, 4-1).
No. 8 Long Beach (5-1): The 49ers have won two straight matches, and their only loss of the season came to No. 1 Pepperdine … LBSU leads the all-time series 1-0 over the Frogs … Their first meeting came March 14, 2017, in Long Beach (5-0, LBSU).
No. 6 Cal Poly (10-2): The Mustangs enter the competition on a seven-match winning streak … Their only losses are to nationally ranked LSU and USC … The Frogs lead the all-time series 2-1 over the Mustangs with their latest meeting coming March 3, 2018, in Fort Worth at the Horned Frog Challenge (CP, 4-1).
No. 10 Arizona (6-2): The Wildcats have lost two of their last three matches to Long Beach and Loyola Marymount after opening the season 5-0 … The Horned Frogs are 0-3 all-time against the Wildcats. Their last meeting came in Fort Worth on March 25, 2017, in the Horned Frog Challenge (UA, 4-1).
