
Three Earn NCEA Monthly Accolades

FORT WORTH, Texas - No. 6 TCU equestrian had three student-athletes named Rider of the Month for January by the NCEA in their respective disciplines on Wednesday. The Frogs won their lone meet in January, knocking off then-No. 3 Texas A&M.
Sophomore Laska Anderson is the Shorty's Horsemanship Rider of the Month. She won 73.5-73 in a re-ride against Texas A&M at the FWSSR. She earned an MOP for that ride. So far this season, she's 8-1 with a season average of 73.3.
Senior Carley Barnett is the Equifit Equitation on the Flat Rider of the Month. She won her point and earned an MOP against Texas A&M for her win by a margin of 10. Overall this season, Barnett is averaging 78.6 on the Flat. She's 6-3 so far this season.
Sophomore Carly Lombard is the Shorty's Reining Rider of the Month. She won her point against Texas A&M, 72.5-68.5, and was named MOP for that ride at the FWSSR. She is 4-4-1 and has a season average of 61.6.
