36 Football Players Received 2017 Accolades

Defensive end Mat Boesen earned first-team All-America honors from Sports Illustrated. He gave TCU a first-team All-American for the third time in four years and sixth time in 10 seasons.
The Horned Frogs, who earned a spot in the Big 12 Championship Game, finished 11-3 for their ninth 11-win campaign in the last 13 seasons and 10th in 15 years.
TCU was ranked ninth in season-ending Associated Press and Amway Coaches polls. TCU is one of just five programs nationally to finish in the top 10 in at least three of the last four seasons. The Horned Frogs have also placed in the top 10 six times in the last 10 years.
The Horned Frogs return 11 starters, including six on defense, next season.
TCU opens the 2018 campaign with a Sept. 1 home game versus Southern. TCU will then travel to SMU Sept. 8 before facing Ohio State Sept. 15 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
