McGovern, a senior from The Woodlands, Texas, opened the month with a team-best three birdies at the Silverado Showdown. She went on to post a 74 on the final day of the tournament. At the Big 12 Women's Golf Championship, McGovern tied for 12th individually at 224 (74-74-76). Off the course, the finance major has also steadily produced for the Horned Frogs. She garnered First-Team Academic All-Big 12 honors in 2015 and 2016, and she earned the Big 12's highest academic honor last year with the 2016 Dr. Gerald Lage Academic Achievement Award.
Wade, a junior from Midland, Texas, had a productive month for TCU, to say the least. He remained a constant threat to opposing teams, reaching base safely in all 16 games he played in. He strung together a team-best .410 batting average and a .506 OBP. Wade also logged 14 RBIs and 6 extra base hits.
