
#SwimDive Set For Big 12 Championship

FORT WORTH -- The TCU swimming and diving team will travel down I-35 for the 2017 Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championship in Austin, Texas, on Feb. 22-25 at the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
Last Year
The Horned Frog men's squad placed third, while the women's team finished fifth overall at the conference championships in 2016. Ford Story was crowned the Big 12 champion in the 100 breast (53.24), and TCU shattered four school records throughout their stint in Austin. Story was the second swimming Big 12 Champion for TCU (Cooper Robinson, 2013).
Carlos Hunnicutt was a part of three school-record performances in his last outing at Texas. Last season, the junior notched a school-record time of 3:39.49 in the the 400 IM. He also broke a 22-year-old school record in the 200 IM with a time of 1:47.46 and was a part of the 800-yard medley relay team that set the school record at 6:33.66.
Schedule
Prelims will start at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The finals will kick off at 6 p.m. on those days. For Wednesday, the 200 medley relay, 1 meter dive and 800 free relay finals will begin at 4 p.m.
