Gladney, a sophomore cornerback from New Boston, Texas, played an important role in the Frogs defense last Saturday during the team's first loss of the season at Iowa State. His interception gave TCU possession of the ball at a crucial time. It was also the first of his career, as well as TCU's eighth of the season, equaling its total from last year.
TCU football will be back at Amon G. Carter Stadium this Saturday when they host Texas. Game time is set for 6:15 p.m.
Buckingham, an outside hitter from San Antonio, Texas, has paved the way for her team in the past two matches. During a win over West Virginia last Thursday, the redshirt freshman put down a career-high 18 kills, with only one error on 34 swings for a .500 hitting clip. This was the fourth time this season Buckingham has led the Frogs to victory.
TCU will get the weekend off before continuing Big 12 play at Waco, Texas, against Baylor on Wednesday, Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m.
