
Women's #SwimDive Set To Host North Texas

FORT WORTH, Texas -- The TCU women's swimming and diving team will host North Texas at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, at the University Recreation Center. Admission is free to all fans.
The Series
The women hold a 15-4 advantage in a series that dates back to the 1984-85 season. The Horned Frogs won 12-straight matchups to start the series before dropping a contest in 2008. North Texas won last year's meet in Denton, 180-120.
Last Time Out
The team produced solid individual performances in their last meet against West Virginia. Sophomore Micaela Roemer and freshman Claire Munster combined for a 1-2 finish in the 100-yard freestyle. Roemer logged a first-place time of 54.28, while Munster clocked in at 54.41.
Freshman Elise Forzley earned two second-place finishes in her events. She placed second in the 200-yard backstroke at 2:05.70 before taking home silver in the 200-yard IM at 2:09.98.
Also placing second for the women's squad throughout the meet was freshman Nicqueline Rettberg in the 500-yard freestyle, senior Ashley Dyke in the 200-yard breaststroke, junior Devin Newton in the 100-yard breaststroke, and freshman Hannah Burt in the 200-yard freestyle.
