
TCU Primed For Ken Garland Invitational

FORT WORTH -- The TCU cross country team will return to the trail for the Ken Garland Invitational in Denton, Texas on Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Eagle Point Cross Country Course.
The women's 5,000-meter race is set to begin at 8:10 a.m., with the men's 4-mile race scheduled for 8:40 a.m. The Horned Frogs will compete against eight schools, including Baylor, Oklahoma, UT-Arlington, Abilene Christian, North Texas, Letourneau University, Texas Wesleyan University and Wiley College.
Team captains Anna Cozart and Matthew Brown will look to set the pace for the women's and men's teams, respectively. Cozart led the Frogs in the season opener in Waco, and she finished 13th overall last year in Denton. Brown also took charge of the team last week, and he paced the men's squad at the 2015 Ken Garland Invitational.
