FORT WORTH, Texas - GoFrogs.com takes a closer look at senior Kari Hancock and her record breaking day in October.
Hancock, who excels both in the classroom and inside the show ring, made equestrian history this past October in Equitation on the Flat versus South Dakota State. The Alaska native scored a 98 in the discipline on Carmeline, marking the highest score ever posted in school history. The mark, which also set a Big 12 Conference record, is the highest score ever recorded during the regular-season in NCEA history.
The now senior would go on to win seven meets during the 2015-16 school year, including three victories in league play. She was also named an NCEA Academic First-Team All-American for a second-straight season as well as earning the prestigious TCU Clark Society Leadership Scholarship in April.
