
Curry on Wuerffel Trophy Watch List

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. -- TCU defensive tackle Aaron Curry has been named to the watch list for the Wuerffel Trophy, recognizing the nation's top player in combining exemplary community service with athletic and academic achievement.
Curry placed second among TCU defensive linemen while tying for eighth overall on the team with 41 tackles last season. He had four stops for a loss, including three sacks.
A senior from Keller, Texas, Curry is involved in a myriad of community activities, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, HOPE Farm in Fort Worth and speaking regularly at local elementary and intermediate schools.
Curry is on pace to earn his TCU degree in December 2016.
