
Quartet Honored As Freshmen All-Americans

FORT WORTH – A trio of TCU baseball freshmen have been selected as Freshman All-Americans by Perfect Game and Baseball America, while another has been honored by Perfect Game.
Luken Baker, Durbin Feltman and Josh Watson are consensus Freshmen All-Americans, while Dalton Horton added Perfect Game Freshman All-American honors to his season awards.
Baker led the team with a .379 batting average in his debut season. One of four Horned Frogs to have played in all 67 games, he tied Josh Watson for the team lead with 11 home runs while becoming the first player since Jason Coats in 2010 to have over 60 RBIs with 62. Additionally, Baker made 10 starts and boasted a 3-1 record to go along with a 1.70 ERA on the mound.
Feltman put together a spectacular season out of the bullpen. He appeared in 27 games, compiling a 3-0 record with nine saves. Feltman posted a 1.56 ERA in 34 2/3 innings pitched with 49 strikeouts.
Watson started every game in left field and tied for the team lead with 11 home runs. He batted .280 with 12 doubles, a team-high five triples and 44 RBIs.
Horton made 12 starts as part of 13 appearances on the mound. He went 8-0 with a 2.58 ERA in 59 1/3 innings pitched.
