TCU Finishes 3rd at Big 12 Championship

TCU freshmen Sabina Pena and Brooke Graebe tied for fifth and ninth, respectively, to earn selection to the Big 12's All-Tournament Team.
Pena, who held the individual lead after 36 holes, shot a final-round 75 for her career-best finish. She began her day with a birdie and finished with three on the day.
Graebe carded a 68, one stroke shy of a career-best 67 in the opening round of the Notre Dame Clover Cup. The Yorba Linda, Calif., native recorded her third top-10 finish and seventh top-20 result in nine tournaments this season.
Annika Clark and Brooke McDougald added a 73 and 74, respectively, for the Horned Frogs. Clark tied Pena for team-best honors with three birdies, all in a seven-hole stretch over the front and back nine. McDougald had two birdies.
TCU junior Kelly McGovern tied for 24th after a final-round 76.
With an 8-under-par 856, No. 9 Oklahoma State won the team championship. The Cowgirls' Kenzie Neisen was the individual medalist with a 9-under 207, including a final-round 66.
TCU will learn Monday if it is selected for an at-large bid to an NCAA Regional. If so, it would mark the Horned Frogs' 20th postseason appearance in the last 21 seasons.
