Twenty-Six Frogs Earn Academic All-Big 12

Overall, the league named 102 honorees. Thirty-four members came from the men's side, and 68 were showcased on the women's side.
The men's first team honorees featured seven Horned Frogs, including Connor Dobbs, Destin Hall, Weston Miller, Darian Nezami, Jake Powell, Matt Spallas and Ryan Whelan. The men's second team recipients were Chris Hearl, Carlos Hunnicutt, Owen Pink, John Remetta and John Smith.
The women's first team included 11 Frogs. They were Sara Brzozowski, Maggie Burkhardt, Kristen Connolly, Ashley Dyke, Michelle Garland, Maddie Johnson, Catherine Rash, Lindsay Shabet, Ty Sides, Hannelore Strash and Meagan Thompson. The women's second team honorees were Aly Davis, Lyndsie Gibson and Mikayla Winkler.
To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.00 GPA or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 60 percent of their team's scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are also eligible.
