Swimming & Diving Set To Open Season

This marks the third-straight year the Frogs will begin the season at the UNT Pentathlon. The pentathlon will feature each swimmer competing in the 100 fly, 100 back, 100 breast, 100 free and the 100 IM.
In last year's meet against UT-Permian Basin, the Frogs won both the men and women's competitions. Sophomore Emily Gibson led the victory in her debut at home, earning a first-place finish in the 200 IM (2:11.88) while senior Michelle Garland took first in the 100 breast (1:08.31). The men's team was led by a wining effort from junior Garrett Hills in the 100 free (48.17).
The Horned Frogs enter the 2015-16 season with nine seniors on the women's team and two seniors returning for the men.
Saturday's meet against UT-Permian Basin will begin at 11 a.m. at the TCU Recreation Center Natatorium.
