
No. 30 TCU Set for Southern Highlands Collegiate

LAS VEGAS - The TCU men's golf team resumes its spring tournament play at one of the nation's premier collegiate events when it opens competition at the Southern Highlands Collegiate Masters on Monday at the Southern Highlands Golf Club.
Joining TCU at the par-72, 7,510-yard course is No. 1 Illinois, No. 3 Texas, No. 7 USC, No. 11 Texas Tech, No. 12 UCLA, No. 15 Arizona State, No. 16 Alabama, No. 20 California, No. 22 Oklahoma State, No. 23 Oklahoma, No. 26 UNLV, Georgia, SMU and Texas A&M.
The Horned Frogs, ranked as high as No. 30 nationally, have posted top-five showings in four of their seven tournaments during the 2014-15 season, including a tournament victory at the Desert Intercollegiate on Feb. 22.
Filling out the lineup card for the Frogs at the three-day tournament is sophomore Chelso Barrett, junior Paul Barjon, sophomore Giulio Castagnara and seniors Andrew Presley and Julien Brun.

Chelso Barrett
Has finished in top 20 in six of seven tournaments this season, including back-to-back top-10 showings.
Leads TCU with 71.76 stroke average and 11 rounds of par or better.
Earned Big 12 Championship All-Tournament Team honors for ninth-place finish as a freshman.
Ranked second on the squad as a freshman with 73.76 stroke average.
Competed in 10 USGA events prior to beginning his collegiate career, including a runner-up finish to PGA standout Jordan Spieth at the 2011 U.S. Junior Amateur.
Paul Barjon
Finished in second place at the Desert Intercollegiate to help lead TCU to the tournament title.
Ranks second on squad with 71.89 stroke average and is highest ranked Frog at No. 67 nationally.
Set TCU single-season record with nine eagles last season.
Earned second top-10 finish of 2013-14 season with a ninth-place showing at NCAA San Antonio Regional.
Posted back-to-back rounds of 66 to claim first tournament win at Stanford as a freshman while setting school record with 54-hole total of 199.
Giulio Castagnara
Carded career-low 67 in final round in Hawaii.
Has competed in all seven tournaments, posting a 73.78 stroke average.
Posted top-20 finish at Desert Intercollegiate, highlighted by opening-round 71.
Posted first-career top-10 finish (8th) at Wofford Invitational in April 2014.
Recorded career-best 54-hole total of 210, including second-career sub-70 round of 68.
Andrew Presley
Finished fourth overall in his TCU debut at the Carmel Cup with a 5-under 211.
Fired back-to-back rounds of 68 and 69 to close play in Pebble Beach.
Carded a final-round 69 at Nike Invitational at Colonial, marking second-lowest round of the day.
Played in 36 tournaments in three seasons at LSU with seven top-five finishes and two titles.
Named a Second-Team All-SEC and PING All-Southeast Region selection in 2012 and 2013.
Julien Brun
Holds the top three single-season scoring averages in school history (2012-13: 70.31; 2011-12: 70.51; 2013-14: 70.63).
Matched his career low with an 8-under 64 in the final round in Hawaii; the round ties for the second lowest at TCU since at least 1994.
Posted three tournament titles last season to increase his school record to nine career victories.
Closed the 2013-14 season with back-to-back titles at the Big 12 Championship and NCAA San Antonio Regional.
Competed at the PGA Tour's Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial Country Club last May.
Holds a program record with three first-team All-America selections.
