Swimming & Diving Faces Kansas in Big 12 Opener

FORT WORTH, Texas - The TCU women's swimming and diving team will welcome Kansas on Saturday, Oct. 31 at the University Recreation Center for a Big 12 showdown to open conference play. The meet is set to begin at 1 p.m.

The Horned Frogs are 2-1 after earning back-to-back victories against UT-Permian Basin and Incarnate Word to open the 2015-16 season.
Kansas (1-1) is currently ranked 48th in the CollegeSwimming.com poll. The last time the two teams met resulted in a 172-124 win in Lawrence, Kan. for the Jayhawks. TCU won their last home contest against Kansas in 2013 by a margin of 176-124.
Returning Frogs that earned first-place finishes against Kansas last year are Maddie Johnson (200 fly), Emily Gibson (100 fly), Carley Stevens (400 free relay), Sara Brzozowski (400 free relay) and Ashley Dyke (400 free relay).
