NFL Update: Wild Card Weekend

Four former TCU football players will see their NFL seasons last another week as their respective teams either received a bye or won their first-round playoff games.
Saturday afternoon features Josh Boyce, Marcus Cannon and the top-AFC seed Patriots hosting Baltimore. Boyce was activated off the practice squad for the team's final game and is in his second year with New England. Cannon started his fourth game of the season in the finale, and he has missed only two games in his last three years with the team.
Saturday night's tilt between Seattle and Carolina includes a pair of Horned Frogs going against each other. Clint Gresham, who has not missed a regular season or playoff game in his five-year career, handles long snapping duties for the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks. He will be opposite Colin Jones, who has been a key contributor to the Panthers' stingy defense this season.
Jones made 27 tackles this season, nearly twice his previous season-high of 14, and started his first two career games. He also had five tackles in the Panthers' 27-16 win on Saturday over Arizona and has been one of the team's primary assets on special teams coverage.
Seven past Horned Frogs made the postseason overall.
Andy Dalton led the Bengals to their fourth consecutive playoff appearance, a first in team history. It was also his first season alongside Marshall Newhouse, who had spent his first four seasons in Green Bay. Newhouse started five games for Cincinnati in 2014. The Bengals fell 26-10 at Indianapolis.
Skye Dawson also made it on a playoff squad for the first time, as he was signed late in the season by Detroit. He was inactive in the Lions' 24-20 loss to his hometown Cowboys.
