
Purple-White World Series Rosters Announced

FORT WORTH - The TCU baseball coaching staff has announced the rosters for the annual, five-game Purple-White World Series set to begin on Tuesday.
The Purple team, coached by volunteer assistant Zach Etheredge, consists of returners Tyler Alexander, Ryan Burnett, Travis Evans, Jeremie Fagnan, Will Foreman, Brian Howard, Keaton Jones, Derek Odell, Preston Templer and Mitchell Traver. Joining them are newcomers Brad Barnett, Connor Beck, Preston Guillory, Matt Myers, Zach Plunkett, Connor Reich, Dane Steinhagen, Cullen Vaught and Evan Williams.
Associate head coach Bill Mosiello will be at the helm for the White squad. He will be leading returners Garrett Crain, Riley Ferrell, Brandon Gilson, Cody Jones, Michael Landestoy, Preston Morrison, Trey Teakell, Brian Treiglaff and Alex Young. Newcomers Elliot Barzilli, Nolan Brown, Francisco DeJesus, Drew Gooch, Jared Janczak, Evan Skoug, Austin Wade and Connor Wanhanen will join the returners.
Game one of the series on Nov. 4 will be played under the lights at Lupton Stadium with first pitch slated for 6 p.m. The pitching match-up will feature Preston Morrison (White) vs. Tyler Alexander (Purple).
Starting game two of the series on Friday, Nov. 7 at 4 p.m. will be Brian Howard for the Purple squad and Riley Ferrell for the White team.
The third game of the series will kick start a busy day of athletics on the TCU campus. Get your football tailgating started early with a little baseball action as the squads will square off at 11 a.m. at Lupton Stadium. Toeing the rubber for Purple will be Mitchell Traver. He will face off against White's Alex Young.
Game four of the series follows on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 6 p.m., with the series finale slated for Friday, Nov. 14 at 4 p.m. Admission is free to the public.
